We have recently just had this beautiful midnight blue Porsche Panamera 4s come in to FCD for a new car prep.
Whilst this Porsche is nearly new and has only covered a few hundred miles, it actually had some quite deep scratches and severe swirl marks in the bodywork.
This is possibly due to the fact that this car was a stock car, which may have sat around for a while, just being wiped down, therefore causing scratches.
After having our thorough 21 stage wash, the vehicle was then decontaminated, using fallout remover and tar and glue remover as well as claying, to remove any build up of contaminants on the paintwork. It is then machine polished to remove the swirl marks and deeper scratches in the paint where possible. As this is a new car prep, it is a single stage polish, however with a new car the majority can be removed with just a single
stage.
We then panel wipe the car to reveal the true finish after polishing, removing any oils left over from the polish, before applying Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra and EXO.
Finally, we remove the wheels and also coated those with the same Gtechniq product for ease of cleaning and maintenance.
We then allow 24hours for the coatings to cure, before the Panamera is available for collection.
Now complete, we get the Porsche out into natural daylight for a final checkover before customer collection.
