PAINT PROTECTION FILM

XPEL PAINT PROTECTION FILM PRICE FROM £399

What is Paint Protection Film?

Unlike coloured wrap which is made from vinyl, Paint Protection Film or PPF as it is more commonly known is a plastic urethane film. It is approximately double the thickness of paint and is highly durable.

This durability provides resistance to scratches and when natural sunlight or heat is applied, the swirl marks and scratches will disappear. It also has a resistance to stone chips and gravel rash.

XPEL is the leading brand in PPF and they offer a clear gloss finish or a satin STEALTH finish which can be applied to all painted and smooth plastic surfaces including some interior trims.

Our Paint Protection Studio is purpose built to ensure your car receives the best possible service!

XPEL Factory Trained

We are Dorset's only factory trained PPF installer. This means we have been professionally trained by XPEL themselves and it grants us access to XPEL's DAP system.

Unlike other installers in the local area, we have the ability to cut exact templates for your car. This reduces the need for "bulk cutting" and the risk of scoring the paint. It also means you end up with a more seamless and exacting finish.

Preparing Your Car For PPF

Here at FCD we take a unique approach to applying our clear protective films. We take extreme pride in the way the cars are prepared and believe we do this like no other. Every vehicle that arrives for PPF has the areas being protected expertly machine polished by our team of detailers to ensure the paint is in it's best possible condition. Even if the car is brand new, it will still recieve this treatment. In the event the film is ever removed from the car, you can ensure the paint underneath will be in outstanding condition. PPF also adheres to paintwork better and we can complete a smoother install if the paintwork has been thoroughly decontaminated and polished. We even then re-wash the vehicle a second time to ensure no dust from the polishing stage has any chance of getting trapped underneath the film!
